Please join us for the next MASHRM Education Event – LIVE!!

The networking reception from 5:00 to 5:30 and then education program from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

This data-driven session uses the 2025 Aon/ASHRM HPL Benchmark Study to examine current medical professional liability trends with a specific focus on MD, DC, and DE. Presenters will compare regional results to countrywide benchmarks, explore key drivers of frequency and severity, and highlight how claim patterns have evolved across different care settings and exposure types. The discussion will connect benchmark insights to risk financing decisions (retentions, limits, structures) and to targeted initiatives in risk management, patient safety, and claims management. Attendees will leave with a concise set of region-specific metrics and practical ideas to apply within their own organizations.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Summarize key national findings from the 2025 Aon/ASHRM HPL Benchmark Study.

2. Compare MD, DC, and DE professional liability results to countrywide benchmarks.

3. Identify leading causes and drivers of loss impacting Mid-Atlantic healthcare providers.

4. Use benchmark insights to inform retentions, limits, and risk management priorities.
