Culture That Sticks:

Using Fun, Purposeful Team Activities to Boost Engagement & Improve Patient Safety Culture

Team building and culture aren’t extras: they’re the backbone of patient safety. They create a blame-free environment, sharpen communication, and keep care consistent, all of which cut down on medical errors. Effective teamwork drives coordinated, harm-preventing care, while a strong culture of safety empowers staff to speak up, report near-misses, and address risks - leading to better patient outcomes.

In this dynamic session, Daniel Weintraub, founder of TeamCulture YOUR Way, reveals how intentional, well-designed team activities can transform culture, strengthen trust, and dramatically improve retention. Through interactive exercises (and small group break out sessions) participants will experience firsthand how joy, purpose, and belonging can unite teams and bring engagement to efforts aimed at building a culture of patient safety.
